Malta Vibes Knockout Series is a six stand-alone online tournament between the best Counter-Strike: Global Offense teams from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Europe started last August 16, 2021.
The said new championship game shares a total prize pool of $300,000, including 12 premium boot camp packages. And a luxurious stay at the 5-star hotel in beautiful Malta which can be used anytime during a year after winning the competition. Malta Vibes Knockout Series introduced a new dynamic knockout format that is exciting for CSGO and content fans. Since this new championship aims to produce a well-balanced competitive schedule.
As a series of tournaments, Malta Vibes Knockout Series 6 is part of this new series of cups organized by Eden Esports. Each cup of the series will have a prize pool of $50,000. Malta Vibes Knockout Series is a new gaming tournament out in the esports world that started last year. And not a lot of fans know how the game works. In this tournament, there will be forty participants to compete in each season, thirty-two of these teams will be invited to the Round-of-Thirty-Two-Stage, while the remaining eight teams will directly land a spot to the Round-of-Sixteen number two-stage.
Game Format
When the knockout hunt is on, and money bounty is placed in every match-winner, the teams will win a prize during each round of the knockouts starting from Round-of-Sixteen until the team reaches up to $25,000 for the championship round. Here is the breakdown of stages:
- Round-of-Thirty-Two
- Round-of-Sixteen – $1,000 prize for each knockout
- Round-of-Sixteen (Stage Two) – $1,000 prize for each Knockout (adding eight more invited teams)
- Quarter-Finals – $2,000 per Knockout
- Semi-Finals – $5,000 per knockout
- Grand-Final – $16,000 per knockout
During the Malta Vibes Knockout Series 6, the game format during the playoff will follow a Single Bracket Elimination and all matches will be decided by Best-of-Three.
