Blast Premier is a worldwide esports professional league for Counter-Strike: Global Offense pro gamers and teams launched in 2020. The game caters to players in two regions: Europe and North America. This championship game series is divided into two seasons, Spring and Fall seasons. Each season lasts around four months and consists of 12 regular season teams which will participate during the Group stage, which would end with a season final for the top six teams from the group stage. The season finals are also open to two teams from Showdown events during each season which includes teams that did not advance in the regular season.

BLAST Premier is the successor of the BLAST Pro Series which was a well-known live Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Tournament and was created in 2017. The discontinuance was made in order to make way to BLAST Premier which is a league-style game and more popular in the current esports community. It is one of the elite-level Counter-Strike events for esports fanatics. It is where the best of the best teams would gather together to showcase who amongst them is the best in the whole world.
Moreover, the tournament will showcase the twelve teams who are drawn all over the world, which consists of famous organizations, rosters, and new faces in the esports community. BLAST Premier World Final 2023 is scheduled to start this December 14 to December 19. The prize pool for this year’s tournament is $1,000,000. It is set to be held on LAN, allowing fans to go back to CS:GO events through Europe. The LAN live event will be held at Blasts Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. BLAST Esports is duly-registered in the UK and has actual offices in London and Denmark.
Game Format
The game format of BLAST Premier World Final 2023 will showcase eight teams that will be playing for double-elimination finals that will be done through a variety of different events. Here are some key points regarding the gaming format of the finals.
- Playing Time: The World Final will be played out for five (5) days as provided by the Match Schedule.
- The matches will be Best-of-Three (BO3).
- Double-Elimination: Eight (8) Teams of the World Finals will play in a double-elimination bracket.
Prize Pool
The prize pool for BLAST Premier World Final 2023 is $1,000,000 that will be distributed in the following manner:

- Second Place: $250,000
- Third Place: $120,000
- Fourth Place: $50,000

Stream
The World Final can be watched live by fans who cannot physically attend the LAN event in the designated location. For Spanish speaking language, the game will be streamed via Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. While for Brazil, France and other English speaking countries, the game will be streamed only via Twitch.
